Natural Personal Lubricant

Sylk  |  Visit the website »

Geneva Marketing, the manufacturer of Sylk, comprises a small team of women who understand what women want and will find happily acceptable in their bodies. So unlike nearly all other personal lubricants, including major brands, Sylk is ethically produced and honours your body with a gentle, natural formulation designed for your optimal health and pleasure. Sylk therefore does NOT contain petrochemicals like Propylene Glycol, used in automotive products like brake fluid and anti-freeze. Nor petrochemical preservatives like Parabens (often hidden under other names like Hydroxybenzoate) which are known mutagens and best avoided in pregnancy.

A note about ethical production: Sylk is based on the extract of the Kiwifruit vine, not the fruit but the vine itself. After the fruit is picked, the vine is heavily pruned and it is from these canes that the extract is taken. Geneva Marketing not only uses a by-product of the harvest that would otherwise be thrown away, they mulch it down and return it to the clean green New Zealand orchards as compost.

Geneva Marketing believes in “putting back into the community”. For over 5 years, they‘ve donated 5 cents from the sale of every pack to a specific department of The Cancer Council Victoria in recognition of the wonderful work carried out by Doreen Akkerman and her team at Cancer Information & Support Services. So if it‘s ever possible to recommend it to your girlfriends, heartfelt thanks as more sales mean an increased donation each year.

You can purchase Sylk nationally from over 2,000 stockists including leading health stores, selected pharmacies plus larger Coles & Woolworths/Safeway Supermarkets (Medicinal Section) or through the private and secure web site www.sylk.com.au

If you can’t find Sylk at your local or favourite chemist, please ask them to order it in and they will have it within a day or so since all major pharmacy wholesalers are well supplied. (Pharmacy staff may need to be reminded that Sylk is spelt with a ‘y’.)
