Rewind 18 years. Alarmed at the number of nasty chemicals used in everyday household products, Melanie and Malcom Rands decide to do something about it. They get to work sourcing healthier products, with no toxic or unnecessary chemicals, and a commitment that their products would work just as well as mainstream brands. Talk about ambitious! So from their basement, ecostore was born. Fast forward back to today, and ecostore has become an international success story! Their products are distributed in supermarkets and health stores throughout New Zealand and Australia, are exported to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea and sold in the US. Not too shabby for a business started from a home basement! We at BaoBag LOVE LOVE LOVE everything ecostore, so we are delighted that today's interview is with the one and only Mel Rands, co-founder and owner of ecostore.
For many a sleep deprived family, ergoPouch baby sleeping bags have proven to be simply life saving. Founder of ergoPouch, the lovely Alina Sack, was once amongst the many exhausted parents at their wits end due to a baby that she beautifully describes as a "challenged sleeper". As the next in our "10 Questions" interview series, Alina chats with us and I'm sure you'll see why she's amongst BaoBag's most inspiring partners.
BaoBag was more than just a bit excited to have the opportunity to interview Catherine Langman - Marketing, Sales and Financial Director of one of our amazing partners, Cushie Tushies. In just a few short years, Cushie Tushies has had a meteoric rise, most recently named as a finalist in the Telstra Australian Business Awards. This is a lovely interview with Cath - an inspirational lady who is making a real difference not only to the start in life of our babies, but also the environment. (And I can't help but love a gal who shares my caffeine addiction).
In BaoBag's very first interview, we are thrilled to be chatting with Chemical Maze author Bill Statham. We hope you love getting to know a little more about our wonderful BaoBag partners. No doubt you find this interview with Bill delightful, enlightening, real and inspiring.
