The information about waiting 2 hours after a standard drink before breastfeeding was useful - lots of people dont understand exactly how much a standard drink is so perhaps a table with how many mL per type of alcohol would be useful (even better would be this info on a fridge magnet)

We tried for some time to conceive our little one. It hurts my heart to think of someone trying the same and not knowing the risks involved.

I think this campaign is important. There are misconceptions about how much alcohol you can drink while pregnant or bfing. This info is good for mums!

I have seen the ads on TV and I think they are very effective at encouraging women to avoid inadvertently drinking while pregnant.

This campaign gives an amazing amount of detailed information that will be especially valuable to those who do drink alcohol. I personally dont drink alcohol but there are some amazing facts in there that I wasnt even aware of! These should be more wide spread. Im so glad these were included in the BaoBag

Wonderful campaign, great alcohol education for pregnant and breast feeding mums. Loads of information that myself, even as a nurse, wasnt aware of!

Not in the bag, however I googled it and definitely support this campaign and think there should be more awareness around alcohol and pregnancy, I have many friends have discussions around this and think it needs to be more talked about in anti-natal classes

I really liked the inclusion of this pamphlet as I do enjoy drinking alcohol on a social basis. The reason why I found this pamphlet and information useful is because Ive heard such mixed pieces of advice from different mums about their opinions on drinking and breastfeeding. There is also a lot of information out there on the internet and it can all get quite overwhelming. It is good to know that FARE is an Australian government endorsed and funded organisation and that the information provided is evidence based. I intend to use the information Ive learnt from this organisation when it comes time to learn to breastfeed my child.

This campaign stood out to me and I actually read the flyer in its entirety. It was informative without being condescending and provided accurate information for new Mums who really missed that glass of wine during pregnancy. I would have appreciated this flyer when I had my first child.

Such an important topic, its so important to spread this information as much as possible. In doing so we could help so many babies and mums suffer the effects of FASD

I hadnt heard of this campaign before receiving my BaoBag. The brochure contains such important information about alcohol when pregnant and while breastfeeding. One thing I am keen to try when our baby arrives is the Feed Safe App that was promoted. This will be a great tool to use while feeding, especially for a first time mother!

Useful info every family should have. I'm not a big drinker but may have a drink to celebrate being a new mum one day soon, and I also work with young childhood. It's good to have families be provided with updated evidence on alcohol while breastfeeding and how to safely feed your baby.

It is important to be informed about the risks of consuming alcoholic beverages during pregnancy

Fantastic! This needs to be promoted as much as possible. Many people think it's okay to drink during pregnancy (even small amounts) so this is a great initiative and public health campaign. Our babies should be our number 1 priority
