Presented in a beautiful, reusable calico bag, our Maternal BaoBags are full of useful products to nurture women on their journeys through pregnancy and birth and beyond. They are provided as a gift through participating pre & postpartum healthcare providers.
I've discovered some amazing products that I think every new mom should know about! From essentials like diapers, creams, and wipes to adorable clothing from Bonds and convenient strollers. I love sharing great finds with others, and I think these products can make a big difference for new parents.
I loved the choice of sustainable and natural products. the meal plan services were very relevant to this season of life.
I feel more products should be included like the cherub baby offer. Practical and with very very little inconvenience or cost to the parent. You feel like you're getting something worthwhile.
Fantastic goody bag, nice to have samples of products before purchasing. Also things I hadnt considered not considered (the dinner ladies)
The most amazing part of the bag was the Dinner Ladies voucher! But there were lots of great products that weve bought as a result of the samples in the bag. Having multiple brands of nappies and wipes is great so that we can compare them without having to buy whole packs

Bao Bag is an amazing service for new parents, offering a generous selection of free baby product samples from trusted brands. The variety is impressive, including essentials like Tooshies eco-friendly nappies, Huggies wipes, and WaterWipes biodegradable wipesall high-quality products that are gentle on babys skin. Its a fantastic way to discover new, premium baby care items without commitment, making it a must-have for any expecting or new parent.
It was a nice compact bag given to me by our family doctor. The nurofen is helpful as I believe every parent should have one at home incase needed. The fess little noses helped, as I used it when my little one had a blocked nose. Im familiar with water wipes but never used them before using the sample which I loved. The Juca food pouches look great, so do the ingredients in them, I will definitely be trying them for my little one when hes ready as an on the go meal.
I recieved some vouchers, Juca pouch, cherub pouch, Billycart shoe measure, water wipes and Huggies wipes along with the hello baby book. I am super happy with the selection I recieved, I really love natural products and I will use everything except the Huggies wipes (which I will pass along to someone else). I love how theyre is things for baby but also the parents (like the food vouchers)
All the gift vouchers and discounts are helpful especially to a mum of three. The ability to have a postpartum planner is fantastic and I will be looking into it. The dinner ladies voucher is a winner for me. Its a great voucher for a first time mum or mum of more. Its very generous.
I like that the bag itself is definitely reusable (its nice and Im keeping it in my handbag to hold together the loose random stuff that clutters my bag until I get to tidying my bag. Generally it is very nice to receive some freebies for bub and mum that are genuinely useable so that is always well received. Trying a new nappy brand was especially helpful (tooshies). There were two items in the bag that were not mentioned on this survey - Cherub Baby Reusable Food Pouch and a Pure Baby beanie. Super lovely and super usable so that is appreciated.

We received our bag on admission to hospital - it was waiting in our room. It was such a lovely surprise. And such a beautiful quality bag - it really felt special. The variety is nice and we particularly loved the Dinner Ladies voucher and nappy samples.
I thought the range and quality of the products was fantastic. My favourite items were: -The dinner ladies voucher, as I think this kind of service is one of the most useful things for new parents. -the body/stretch mark oils, as it's good to try different products and find the one that works best with your skin.
This is my second time receiving the Bao Bag in hospital at the SAN. Such a wonderful and welcome gift. We particularly love the dinner ladies voucher. So great to have the chance to sample other baby products too
I was really pleased with the overall contents of the bag - it was a good range of products (eg some for mum, some for bub, some for before birth and some for after). The samples were all decent enough sizes that you could actually test out the product. I'm especially excited by the Dinner Ladies voucher and it's always handy to have extra wet wipes in convenient sized packets!
It had some lovely items for new parents and useful for families regardless if first time mum or not, love the belly oil and the dinner ladies voucher.

The dinner voucher is great and I think a must for all new mums! You can get some great deals
This was a lovely bag of goodies to receive in hospital. The little sample packs were useful and I liked learning about new companies we may want to use especially the dinner voucher ladies.

I love this bag. I think it has a good variety of products for expecting mums. I especially think the dinner mums gift card is useful
I loved the dinner ladies voucher, so thoughtful! I think the bag is such a beautiful touch to a scan appointment. The magazine was also my favourite. I really enjoyed enjoyed the belly oil too. Very thoughtful and actionable gifts.
Overall, the Baobag offers a great mix of products for both mums and babies. The Dinner Ladies voucher is generous and practical, while the Weleda Nappy Cream and Demarcate Stretchmark Oil are standout skincare items. I appreciate the Huggies and Water Wipes for their trusted brands and eco-friendly options. The Vitaceuticals Iron Supplement is a thoughtful addition for boosting energy and iron levels and the Pure Mama Belly Oil has been a hit with both me and my friends. Im excited to continue testing these products as my baby arrives!
