iCandy, a British family-owned company with a rich heritage spanning over 90 years, was founded in London's fashion district in 1933. Initially a fashion design and manufacturing business, the company has evolved into a globally recognized nursery brand under the leadership of brothers Bradley and Warren Appel.

Behind the Brand with iCandy

In April 2023, the company appointed Cameron Appel as Vice CEO. Cameron, representing the fourth generation of the family, has been with iCandy for over seven years, progressing from the warehouse floor to Head of E-Commerce before his current role. His promotion underscores iCandy's commitment to blending tradition with innovation.

iCandy's core principles—Quality, Innovation, Heritage, and Style—drive its mission to create products that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally superior. The UK-based in-house design team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design and engineering, resulting in products that reflect a unique sense of style and high-tech sophistication. This commitment to excellence is evidenced by iCandy being the only pushchair brand to have received two Queen’s Awards: one for International Trade and another for Innovation.

Sustainability is also a key focus for iCandy. The company recognizes its responsibilities extend beyond manufacturing, taking seriously its role in supporting families throughout their parenting journey. Initiatives such as a box reuse policy and a Cycle2Work scheme demonstrate iCandy's dedication to reducing its environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly practices.

At its heart, iCandy remains a family business committed to the well-being of families worldwide, continually striving to innovate and provide high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of parents and children.
